Shinta and the Wolf
This short story is set in the small lakes of Colbricon, in Lagorai (Trentino, Italy, Alps). Here, about 11,000 years ago, Mesolithic hunters camped during the summer to sight prey, work skins and make weapons and tools. In the arrow rods, to make them more effective, fragments of flint in the shape of a crescent and triangle were inserted. Agriculture and breeding were still unknown, but we know that the wolf was the first animal domesticated by man. The first contacts between man and wolf date back to the end of the last ice age.
