Masenka and the bear. “Masenka and the Bear” is an ancient Russian fairy tale that inspired the scriptwriters of Masha and Bear, a well-known cartoon for children. Among the traditional tales, this children’s fairy tale plays on two elements common to many myths and popular stories: a large animal, which can be a danger to people, the fear of children to be out of the house, fear, parents, to lose children.
